S4 owns a Civic!!!

Some hatchbacks are fast as hell, they only weigh what 2100 to 2400 lbs, and that particular hatchback had a h22 motor in it, which comes in the prelude 2.2 L I4 which comes out of the factory with something like 195 bhp, now figure that he put a few mods on it to boost it too 240 -250 bhp @2100- 2400 lbs you do the math

did you watch it or just say ohh its a civic....phst, some are fats as hell, anyway the s4 was trying for a while in that video.....

i wouldn't say owned...

its not, ive beaten a number of civics in my 9000, the point was this S4 beats this obviously modified civic, jesus did you all watch the video or just go " well course an S4 can beat CIVIC"....watch the video see how close it was....that was kinda the point the title to get people curious....Peace out

ya the s4 was tryin.... i wouldent title it as s4 owns a civic but thats a good race and a solid win for the v8 s4

I know of a civic that looks completely stock however it has the Acura RSX-R engine under the hood, some intake mods, possibly exhaust (nothing really apparent) and some weight reduction...owner says its about 220-230 hp and does 1/4 in low 13s...so not too shabby really for a near beater looking car...

Very true - the H22 was kickin.. but I dont think it was @ 240... just thinking out loud is all...
all he had was intake & headers / exhaust...

I doubt it has 240hp. I/H/E won't add that much to a H22.

Im upset at how many audi memebers are looking down at civic. I happen to own a 6th gen civic atm. and even tho ill be selling it and buying a TT in the comming months, i still will never forget the reason i got the civic in the first place. Yes most are rice. but the ones that look normal are the ones that will have you running with your tail between your legs.


advice that should of been given to the S4 owner, dont race a civic highway style.

I think part of the problem is the driver... he adds at least 250-300lbs to the car. The first thing that needs to go on a diet for a weight reduction plan is the driver. I love being 6'3" - 165lbs.

Its not that I don't eat, its just that my metabolism eats faster. I live on hotdogs, kielbasa, steak and doritos, washed down with dark beer at every meal I can ATTEMPTING to put on some weight. fat, muscle, whatever, and it doesn't seem to be working : (

^^^^hahahaha your just like me. I can eat anything and I'm always hungry about 2hrs after a meal. Its just that my metabolism is so freakin high, I'm lucky if I gain 10lbs a year. Then again I'm very active.

6'4 188 here, i have a hard time to gain weight too but i go to the gym 4-5 days a week so alot of that fat gets burned, but that guy in the s4 is pretty big i wouldent want to mess with him haha, us quattro guys need to stay away from h22 civics on the highway but you fwd guys can mess with them.

I just want to let you guys know, some of you guys in my area probably alreayd know.... There are about 5-10 Civic coupe and hatchs in my area that will take down alot of very nice cars. Pretty much a gutted Hatch with the integra GSR motor with I/H/E and vtech controller can hang with my stock s4 for a while. prolyl take them by 1 1/2 to 2 cars in a 1/4 mile....... But the 2-3 turbo hatchs around here ui wont even mess with... Not yet

O and to whoever posted the dont mess with a civic on the highway............. Pfft ill take any civic on the highway with a B5 S4. They are high revving but still dont have the TQ to keep them going.
