Ok first things first I need help I want to kill this car. I went on a short trip nothing big over the weekend for a race in AZ. It started out very nicely toped off the tank pick up my friend from the airport and started on down. About 240miles in still on the same tank of gas a reocuring error showed its head. I have a 2003 A4 3.0 quattro 6spd with 80k miles. The first problem is the one I want solved. Its hard to explain but the engian will sound like the muffler just droped and its a stright pipe. No CEL comes on when this happens and zero codes occur. We were close enough to a town that I was able to pull over and try and find scanner with no luck no F***ing place had one in this unnamed town. What sound's come about when a motor is starved for air? The problem cleared its self out around 50miles like normal and we continued on which rocked because it started to snow on back roads with no cops...
2. Right front fog light says its out It works.
3. Right tail light out all bulds work.
4. Fuel door says its unlocked all the time. "It works fine and no hissing sounds from a possible loss cap"
5. Traction control light came on 30miles from home after.
6. The anoying problem from above occured again on the way home this time lasting 140miles in the middle of no ware with no cell signal.
7. 5500 left on the car and its gone. Not sure if its a problem but its cost me more each month in repairs then the payments.
Any idea's.
Zero codes as of today.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for 10-20 minutes to reset the computers?

Every 3 weeks I'm forced to let it sit disconnected for about 45mins to let all juice out. I wish 15mins to wipe everything worked on this POS. Anyone have a slight clue to what could be the cause no CEL and no one has been able to find the cause even when its happening.

Sounds scary. I hope nothing as worst as that happens to mine, I;m pushing 80k on my B6. I've been debating whether or not I made a good decision buying a used car than a new Civic??...

Dude ... my other car is a civic. Nothing against hondas or anything, but there is just no comparison. The civic will run forever but ever since I got the audi, driving the civic makes me cringe (noise, uncomforable seats, vibration). The audi is easily worth the upkeep imho.

very hard to answer because all the problems are electrical so only thing I can suggest is bad ground engine to chassis/battery to chassis ( but definitely sounds like a wiring issue ) done any mods lately?

all the problems other than the first are minor, and a decent mechanic with electrical skills can take care of you.
when you had the problem where it got louder, did the rpm's change? did you lose power? can you describe the noise?
If the motor was 'starved for air' as you put it, i wouldnt expect it to get loud like it had no muffler. if you had a loose exhaust pipe that somehow was only loose for that amount of time, it would have to be behind the 02 sensors or you would get a code and a dashlight on.
you should probably get your main problem diagnosed asap...
