Fellas, finally saw the light and decided to switch over to an 99 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro. I mostly deal with Car audio portion of imports, still have my accord for sound quality comps, but prefer my audi for daily driving (wife's car). I'm sure I'll have a few questions and concerns, I'll do my research before I post for sure.. I already found several post with something similiar that I'm experiencing right now and found the solution with in an hour.. Kewl..

Thanks fellas, I'm still researching what I can do to the A4. I learned my first lesson for being a tight wad, don't pump cheap gas in the car.. ..

yea, ive found that the midgrade (89-91 octane) gives my a4 the best combination of gas milage and engine performance

93 and im out of gas in 300 miles.

87 and i can feel the power drop from better gas.

if your made of money, run the premium (93+)

but for me, the performance of the ~90 octane is enough to put me in my seat, and i get around 375-400 miles a tank.

Congrats on the new ride and welcome to the forums. Hope you like it here. I have always run at least 93 and get about 360 out of a tank on the highway. Lately I have been running Sunoco 94.

Okay, I swapped out the coil amp (starting acting up), replaced the spark plugs (autolite double platinum (not what I wanted)) and it runs much better now on 91-93 octane and the needle has barely moved compared to what it used to do. Learned a quick lesson, $300 later..
