yeah it was completely dark...turning the lights on kinda defeats the whole purpose of it..but whatever...yeah i sat front row on that ride..it was awesome.

make a special cd with all the songs you two like. sing, dance and do other things to the music, then give her the cd to keep. when she listens to it, she'll always think of the trip. have fun.

I like the cd idea but half way there instead of handing her the directions put in a cd of Mickey's greatest hits. She'll look at you with one strange look, but it would definately be a different way to tell her and she'll probably laugh at you but think your romantic in a wierd strange way. Have fun dude

haha nothing like a rental me and the GF are taking the train down to Nova scotia next week and we will be getting a rental I will be getting full insurance on this bad boy they should be lucky if there is anything left of this domestic POS by the end of the week

man that sounds like a FUN TRIP!
and if you're only in noral DEFINITELY drive.
thats a nice drive down the coast and you can take nice breaks along the way and do a little sight seeing.

if your driving from norcal be sure to take the 5 if you want a somewhat scenic drive, because if you take the 99 your gonna be driving through farm land and cow **** for 4 hours, i dont think your gf would appreciate that smell.

Yes i can fly that thing down there but it would cost a **** load of money.

101 is very scenic....much better than 5. But Add 2 hours to the trip.
If you want to go ubberscenic than take 101 to 156 to 1 towards Montery...this will put you on 1 down the coast between Montery and San Simeon....1 intersects with 101 just north of San Luis Obispo..then stay on 101 the rest of the way....
This will probably add another 2 hours to your drive time...but 1 is a spectacular drive...winding road overlooking pacific and right through Big Sur....
