HAHA Lets see if anyone can guess what I changed this weekend (other than my exhaust). And Leifer, you can't guess because you already know!

tail lights, i remember now

I was thinking tail lights, but his car is a '99.5 - so it should already have the best tail lights.
 
Unless you're trying to set some new trend by switching to older-style tail lights?

Yup! When i was in Seattle Leifer liked my tail lights and we ended up trading. Only thing now is I need to re-paint the lower portions since his car is silver and mine is blue so yeah... I have silver lower pieces (why did Audi do that anyways???)

Oh yeah now I remember you had those goofy altezzas.
 
You know, the body-colored panel on the bottom of the tail lights comes off, they're just held on with some clips. You guys should just swap those.

Yeah I know you can but I don't have the blue ones anymore. The altezzas had a chrome piece on them and Leifer's car is silver so thats whats on there now. It's a little interesting looking but it's not terrible.

I actually just upgraded my tail lights AND my headlights, but I haven't taken any pictures yet because the front bumper is all effed up and it's too cold to wash the damn thing right now. But the new tail lights make it look like a whole different car, and I love my projector headlights.

it kind of repeats the clear strip in the lights so it actually doesn't look to aweful, I'd still fix it before to long but it doesn't look horrible.


Also, is your car Europa Mica Blue, because it looks similar to mine but not dead on, and I love dark Blue Audi's

I am not sure the name of it. I thought it was Midnight blue but I could be wrong.

Its Santorin Blue, same as mine. It does look a little lighter but I think that's the lighting in the picture and the thick layer of road salt that's covering his car.

I'm kinda feelin the silver bottoms.

Yeah the more I look at it the more I actually like them. Hmm....

Mudflaps FTL!!

Yeah the problem with taking those off is that it rubbed all the paint off behind them. It looks like CRAP with the missing paint marks. Once I get enough to have my whole car re-painted then I will take them off.
