Just a little tip for those who are thinking of doing this, you can save yourself about an hour or twos worth of time by unbolting the downpipe from the rest of the exhaust and sliding it out the top of the engine bay. I finished the install in a hour and 20 min.

maybe he just slid it up far enough to remove the dp bolts more easily rather than all the way, good idea nonetheless.

no he completely removed it from the top, i've heard of someone doing it before. when i did mine i tried this for over an hour straight and it was definitely not possible. it might be possible for some models but not others, i dunno

nope I took it completely out. for all those who have seen beer fest pretend you are drinking the boot. when you are pulling it out through the engine bay twist it and it will slide right out. saved me so much time. and my straight pipes never sounded so good between the turbo being loud enough to a mile away and the exhaust to note sound like a beast.
