not sure what the number is or what it represents, but there is a 9 digit number on every piece on the car. my Y pipes, head lights, tail lights rear fog light, windows, everywhere, u name it, its most likely there. anyone know what this number means

could it be the part number
so when u need to replace a part you can just give the dealer the part number
yeah i noticed a 6 digit number and letter combo on the front and back of my car... any ideas on what that could be???

ehh can be 6 or 7 here.. we usually have the dash "-" in the middle and then its only 6 digits.. yeah i seriously dont believe we need plates in the front

RS your car came from quebec right? Which like I said, is a haven for car theft and chop shops... those #'s you see everywhere, are probably tags to deter thieves from chopping your car, and parting it out. I know our old audi had it done, was also a quebec car. So if your car was ever stolen, you'd report to somebody to watch out for those #'s popping up on other peoples cars.
Who knows how it works... I'm guessing -- but I do think that is what the #'s are for.
yea thats what me and my bro kinda thought. i guess it could even work for an accident, and if the headlight was replaced, i guess the headlight would have a different 9 digit number then the rest of the stuff. the car thieft circle in quebec is crazy.
