I love my A3, it's a fantastic car. But the P6 OEM tires are awful. They're noisy and getting noisier by the mile and they're hard on the bumps. The have only 10 K miles but I want to replace them before summer. What's a reasonably priced tire that's quiet, comfortable, and good handling. The Contential Extreme ProContact, the GoodYear Eagle Response Edge? Your advice is welcomed.
Thanks, SS

have you looked here;
www.tirerack.com , these guys are very cool and list all tires by size for your A3. Also you can just call them, tell them what sort of driving you do, and they
can suggest tires for you.
I bought these tires for my Mini cooper via tirerack, great price, and nice handling traction!
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Pirelli&tireModel=PZero+Nero BTW, my 2008 A3 came with Conti all season tires, sort of bummer since I live in SoCal. I was thinking of buying new summer tires and selling the stock Conti's....

Ive got the continentals. They are very quiet and I like them a lot. I drive on pretty rough freeways and its a very smooth ride.

I would get the new potenza's from bridgestone but I live in the mountain and they're great for year round

I've got the Hankook Ventus V4es - huge improvement over previous Dunlops. Way quieter.
