top ten movies of all time

I just wanted to get and idea of what type of movies people like.  This is a project i have to do for school on the popularity of films.  So anyone who wants to, please make a top ten list of your favorite movies of all time.  Anything goes even porn movies haha.. But here are my top ten...

i could never narrow it down though to my top 10..

6.Seven Sunny Days (it's a ski movie but I love it and think everyone should see it)

10. Requiem for a Dream (for its cinematographic qualities and strength in message)

8) Wedding Crashers (b/c death you are my bitch lover)

that was harder than I thought I could have gone a couple diffrent directions
 
here are a couple that were close: Ichi the Killer (banned in England crazy japanese ganster film if you have a weak stomach stay away!!!!), Gost Dog, Toy Story, Transformers (the old cartoon movie from the late 80's), 30 yr old virgin, the princess bride (absolute classic)... t many more to list. 

In no particular order, I'll list the popular ones

Life of Brian and The Holy Grail - The Meaning of Life doesn't make my top 10, but gets honorable mention

Ill say this though, I don't think all of those deserve too be on "THE" top ten list.... but for my tastes and general enjoyment its hard to beat those.

Not one person listed the Departed! You guys are sick.

The Departed was amazingly good one of m.s.' best. But it isn't very memorable, except for the spoiler in the elevator which I wont mention.......... Also the Good Shepard was technically amazingly good too, but the same applies

It is too difficult to choose a top 10 list.  Action, Drama, Chick Flick, Documentary, et.al, makes for a top 100 list not a top 10 list...

Top movie list changes (somewhat) with my mood, but I generally favor action and drama.  Some that come to mind, in no particular order are:

    All 22 James Bond movies
    All 3 Jason Bourne movies
    Die Hard (4 movie trilogy)
    Star Wars (IV, V, VI)

I'm suprised nobody said  The Notebook.  I'm not usually into sappy movies but this is actually right on the top of my list, I just forgot about it. +1 on  American History X, Schindler's List, Forrest Gump, and Superbad. I think this list should have been top 20 movies, because its just to har to narrow it down to 10.
