Whats the fastest u have ever driven?

I was wondering what the fastest spped people have driven at. U must have been the driver in a car and plz include the speed (MPH) and waht kind of car it was in.

170mph Mitsubishi EVO

150mph - corvette.

Been 160 in a pontiac gto, but was the passenger.

o sry i forgot mine it is 155 in Mustang GT (highly modified govenor removed)

125 in the 1.8T wait...who drove that fast....not me??....

140ish in a Lotus Esprit turbo.

175 MPH (284KPH indicated). 1993 Opel Calibra Turbo - 2.0L/16V/DOHC/6-SP/AWD. Bone stock. I've said it before, I'll say it again, and again, and again... MAN I miss Europe.

Rode in a RUF Turbo while I was in Germany for spring break last year. 203 MPH.

i am going this summer with my family and my dad and i are going to rent a ferrari or lambo and take it to the autobahn.

have u ever seen the modern marvels the autobahn (it was on last night but i have seen it way before that) and they take a ride in a brabd new ruf (with the ruf test driver) and with a camera crew of 2 in the car they hit 207 (i think thats what they said) and it was crazy when he was going pass the other cars.

130 in my old 89 honda accord ....but ~152 on my 97 gixxer.

jest only 120? i would think u would have taken ur car atleast somewhere were u can go fster thatn that. But where i live theres a brand new toll road (about 5 years old) and at night i can really fly (of course i always drive down and check for cops first) and i just go form a dead stop into a burnout and just go and go until i get too scared.

Naw, I don't have cable, just the basic 5 local channels. You don't have TiVo by any chance do you?

145 mph with 4 people in the car and on some back country road. it was a little scary. kinda wished i was alone in the car but was young and stupid. oh yeah it was a lexus sc400

Hit the govenor in my 01' S4 Audi. Sustained 143 MPH for about 5 seconds only, but it was fun! I also have a 96 Accord, I won't do past 80 in that.

sorry don't know MPH i'm in Canada but in my old POS Integra going 230 Kilometer down the old 401 the speedo only read 230 but I felt the car still pulling so I'm not to sure

i've done between 135-140 in my a4, and that is one of the reasons i dont have my license right now

Divide by 1.62, or, alternatively, multiply by.62, to convert KM to M

On the street:
Did 150ish in my RX-7 racing a SVT Lightining that didn't know any better. I have hit 150+ with my RX-7 many times on the Interstate I really dont know ghow fast I was going because I was watching the road. If you're staring at you're speedo you do not belong going that fast.

Did the same 150ish in a 73 Porsche 911T years ago.

On the track:
I was on a slow track (Moroso, in West Palm Beach, Florida) but I was hitting 160 on the front straight and 125 on the back straight. Nothing scares you like weaving through a curve at 120 MPH.

I also did 110 through a sweeping curve on a 24' wide road in the Florida Keys with water and mangroves at the edge of pavement. On that same road I topped out at 140 on a straight away heading for the finish line.
