149 in my old Tibby, and havn't bothered with the A4 since I know she's limited at 137ish.

137+, i put the plus there cuz thats when i stopped looking down at the speedo, the car had a couple more before it topped out. i did this in my 98 Eclipse following another one.

Thats fast on some skis, what where you riding on and what hill where you at? I think the fastest I've gone on my skis is maybe like 30ish. Never clocked, just guessing.

I used to race nationally. It was at vail early in the morning before the area was open. You couldn't possibly go that fast when people are on the hill. And yes that was SCARY fast.

I hit 150mph in my A3 last weekend.   That was as fast as this man is willing to go on a public road.

damn i want to race on skiies. i can never go fast enough because little kids and dumb ass snowboarders get in my way

120, but with 4 passengers, and it felt like it still had plenty more, i just want a track to do anything more, i dont take it 100+ often

I agree.. i hit about 60 on skis once and thought my legs were gonna fly off!

It's F-ing nuts, at that speed the only way to tell if you're on the ground is if it's a rough ride, when it's smooth your no longer on the ground. Later that day we had to take one of our team mates to the ER while we were traning for downhill. And he hit a tree only going about 35, while he was stopping. At 100 there is no point for a helmet.

I hit a tree once on my board going about 30.  That was one of the worst months of my life.  It hurt everywhere.  I feel for your friend.

I have never hit a tree thank God. This old lady at my local hill hit a tree this year though and died, but she actually died from heart faliure, then hit the tree. It still would have sucked though. The worst crash I've been in was when I was trying to spin a 5 in the park and landed sideways on the transverse, I kinda fliped and rolled for a bit, got up fine but my body was in pain for like a week after that, still havn't landed a 5 yet. 

I would die if i even attempted to go 100 mph. I hit a simple jump and landed on ice azz 1st and had to drive 8 hrs on 1 cheek. You are 1 crazy mofo.
