hit the gov at 129mph in 96 b5 2.8...stock too

My A4 is rock solid at triple digits,my and my bosses bikes even more so at 160-195 true speed. My Mr2 was a bit scary past 110,even though it had no problem getting there,or 2 it's 150ish rev limiter. Speed is relative depending on car.

A 600 WILL NOT HIT 175 WITHOUT EXTREME ENGINE MODS,AND LOSS OF RELIABILITY. Your friend chances are didn't come near a true 202 because of speedo error. On bikes it's from 5-10%.

I once took it up the ass at 195 coming out of Atlantic City one night. Man, there were about 30 dudes that just had their way with me and I loved every second of it. You should have seen me, I was like the goatse guy when they were done, and I think I'm going to go back for more!

I went 105 but im not proud of it. Im too scared to get pulled over going that fast my parents would rape me, and ill probably throw a rod if I go any faster damn 5 speed...

I pushed 145 in the 335i, but my days of speeding are long gone. Turns out the MA State Police have about a one million dollar budget shortfall and they are ticketing EVERYONE and they have increased police presence on the highways about three fold. My co-worker got pulled over for 73 mph on the pike just a few days ago. WTF!

i always gone to my cars limiters, usually 135 to 145 depending on the tires....i have had my ninja up to somewhere between 140 and 150,  not sure only cause i was concentrating, and only looked down after i was decelerating, that **** is f*(ing scary on a bike! i don't do it often, just when a punk in a ricer really won't leave my alone on the highway.

not a fan of speed, the fastest was about 115mph for 4 hours (was in a hurry) this was an exhausting experience. I had to sleep 12hrs to be ok again. I felt like i was drunk...funny feeling.

Thanks for the defense Chef...  And a 600 will easily hit 175, not much faster than that though, I was pretty close to having it redlined.  There is an easy way to know how fast you are going, they call it a "speedohealer".  It helps to correct how far off your speed is.  It might not have been 175 exactly, but it was pretty damn close.

145 in my '01 A4 1.8T after chip.
 
My friend got up to 147 or 157, 4th gear in his SVT cobra (no supercharger) I forget what year it was . . . not that I cared all that much . . . its a mustang. He got scared and shut it down.

I get my A6 2.7T (bone stock) to 130 fairly frequently, but my last car 96 ES300 Lexus I set the cruise through the entire state of Utah at 138 (governer at 140).

like 125 or so and thats been pushing it fast enough for me.. cruise control at 138 is absolutely insane were you the only car the entire way or what?

fastest I've been in mine was 160ish. Took a while to get from 140 to 160 but had no fueling to go higher. I was not even redlined I was pissy heh.

I once put "instant" coffee in a microwave oven and ALMOST went back in time...

I once knocked a guy into next week. Bet he would have liked some of your coffee.

I'm glad this came back, when it was first here I didn't have the M6, with that said 175mph.
