i've been thinking about turning my a4 into a beast and then i started thinking maybe i could do a vw pickup (rabbit truck) dragster. or maybe doing up pops toureg or going nuts with my corrado and put syncro on it, or build a chopper like on tv. whatever it is i think its getting time to build another toy. so i just wanted to know what your plans for the next toy will be.

I;m torn btwn a '95-'99 300zx TT, or a '95-'97 GSX. Prolly whichever I can find closest to hime once I get my D2 paid off in, say, 24-30 months from now. Given my s/n I think we know which way I'm leaning, but the power potential of a TT 300zx has it;s own appeal...

AWDaholic... I dont think the 300zx's were produced past 1996... not in north america anyways.

And for the corrado guy! Do the effin syncro conversion! THAT WOULD BE INSANE! Drop everything, and get on that project!

My next toy is a degree :(

After that... hmm. I really want a carrera 4S.

Well, my next project is a Noble M400, with the V6 Twin Turbocharger. I should be buying the the car with everything except the Motor and Tranny by mid October, and motor and tranny by early January. So I'll let you know how that comes out!

That works with the ford taurus engine right? Twin turbo'd among other things... makes high 300 hp or so, and weighs nothing? that car is a bargain and a half... 0 - 60 in the 3 second range, right? not to mention what it pulls on the skidpad... all the power to you!

EDIT: my bad, bigger turbo's (T28's) among other things, have got the power up to 425 now... and 390 lbs of torque... and umm... 2330 lbs. Yikes. Thats 1000 lbs less than an a4 :P

I want to buy a Mk II Jetta and beef it up. I have to get on top of my current project though (building my A4 to APR stage II). Right now I need a stable income and then I'm game. Next year I'll be finishing my school day at 1 pm, so I can use the autoshop till 3pm or so every day. Not to mention the fact that the auto teacher at school owns a VW/Audi shop.

i had this idea in the back of my head for a while and i wanted to know what you guys think. how about putting a r32 motor tranny awd and harness into a rado. it would definately be original and sweet, it would also require alot of cutting too i think, im not sure because a 24 valve 2.8 can fit with the stock core support but the 3.2 is a little bigger. the haldex should also fit but it is going to be the worst pain in the ass ever and god forbid its too short or something. has revo ever pulled the immobilizer off the r32 ecu yet? it would suck if i had to use the golf cluster in a rado, ive seen guys have the immobilizer pulled on the 1.8t's but never the 3.2. this project would definately take some time and i would have to liquidate alot of good stuff i like. i rather not do stand alone on the 3.2 but i guess its possible but i love the way the 3.2 looks no wires or lines anywhere in sight and car electronics isnt one of my strong points. it would be pretty insane but the car would be slower then it is now but definately cooler. then doing turbo to the 3.2 is pretty expensive and i have no clue if i could even fit it. this entire project would be pretty expensive there were only 5000 r32s brought to the us and im sure 100 are gone i know of about 5 personally. this weekend im gonna hang out at the shop and throw some ideas around with a few of the guys, cause obviously i dont have a clue what i want to do (those of you that read my post know that).

Headshok and check...yes it's ford that makes the engine. It would be a V6 with two T28 turbochargers. I'm not to fond abouth the engine been a Ford, but we'll see. It will be my weekend car. After all it's costing me more or less what i gained from selling the New Ferrari F430. I know what your gonna say...why didn't i stay with it. But when you get an offer before it arrives that a guy will give you 50K more over the list just to be the first one to have it when it arrives,., it's more or less an offer you can refuse.
