Where do you rest the gas cap???

I keep on forgetting to post this -but where do you rest the gas cap when you are refilling? Is there a hook or something to rest it on?

Maybe I'm just a dumbazz, but I can't seem to figure it out.

if you look at the gas cap, there's 4 cut outs on the edges.  you can hook two of the cut outs on the "arm" of the gas door.

I thought this was a dumb question as I just let it hang, but I see krazyboi is right. Guess I'm the dumbazz

It won't fit unless turned the right way, though.  If it doesn't fit, turn the cap 90 degrees and try again.

I just rest it on my car, the lazy way :)

I haven't seen any damage to the car so ill keep on being lazy :)

I cut the cord and rest it on the pump or I can jam it in the pump handle to keep it running at those stations that have taken away the clip that keeps it running without my hand involved.

never knew that, i usually just hang it over and down behind the gas door.

I've seen micro-scratch damage on other cars from people doing this.
