Winter Detail Pics

Yesterday was nice as hell out and in the 50's so i decided i would wash and detail my car since it was in winter mode and went through 3 snow storms and was covered in salt. I used adam's car wash, foam cannon and adam's clay bar to start off with. I bought my self a craftsman 6 1/2'' orbital buffer/polisher that was on sale for $39.99 at sears along with some pads. I did the swissvax paint treatment and then I hit the car three times with the buffer using adam's swirl and haze remover, revive polish, and finished it off with the buttery wax and detail spray. I'm really impressed by how well the buffer worked on the car and suggest buying one if you don't have $$ to spend on a PC I also cleaned and rinsed the engine bay down using adam's all purpose cleaner.

Looks awesome - I can't wait until the weather allows me to detail my car and get it back the way it should look.  It's a mess right now.  Did you smoke your taillights a little bit?  They look slightly darker than normal - I like it.

You can get that lip spoiler on eBay for around $50 shipped and painted.  I may get one - the look is growing on me.  The bumper is an OEM S4 bumper.  Suspension - I'll leave that to him to explain:)

yes my tailights are lightly tinted using the vht spray

i shoot with a cannon digital rebel xti, the rear bumper is stock with a painted lower valence, i got the s4 bumper when someone backed into my car i got from the body shop, and i got the lip spoiler on ebay and paited it myself with paint from paintscratch.com, and im running h&r coilovers

edit: oh and its the stock grill with the chrome trim painted black

Looks very nice! I got out the hose today and hooked it up to the sink in the laundry room and had some nice hot water for my baby for its bath, but me being a total dumb ass i did check the weather and now its snowing and a salt truck just went by.

looking great!  It's always nice to be able to wash your car in January... i did mine yesterday 

It's snowing now, but I just finished up putting on the STaSIS coiloves on mine. It's staying in my garage tonight, but hopefully I'll take it to the carwash tomorrow when I test drive the new suspension. Your car looks great.

Absoloutely stunning car, I'm thinking about getting roof racks my self, considering I have subwoofers and my snowboard just won't fit it the car, and I don't want to cut the leather. Some nice rims would really set the car off nicely in addition to those chrome side mirror covers.

I was just talking about a roof rack today for my car becuase of my sub and my snowboards ha.
