wow, not funny.

But anyways, Jonus, have we shown that the 1.8t is a good motor?  basically the fastest cars are the older mki and mkii with 1.8t's transplanted.  The one i posted is still a street legal car with a t3/67 dbb mkiv slightly gutted.  It is now being made into a real drag car and i believe a T4 turbo (no info on which yet).

I will give it credit. It’s a great 4 cylinders engine in terms of modding and high performance. I just like playing with the king of the hill. I like that voice in the back of my head telling me “don’t worry…you still have 1500 more horse power before you need to go to a new engine code”.

the thing that i don't care for is your condisending, and out right anti-Audi attitude. all your post consist of how bad Audi's are, and how much better your american muscle V8 is.. the way i look at it, if you're not with us, you're against us

what did i say? what the thing about king of the hill? come on sean, i was just being honest. like i said, the 1.8t is respectable and certainly holds its own but its not king of the hill. and again, why do you guys think im a huge "american muscle v8" fan? cause i happen to own one? the only american v8 i like is the gen 3+ chevy small block engine. thats 1 series of engines! i dont like any other american v8 so stop being thick and shut up about it already! in fact i hate WITH a passion any pre-1998 american v8, ford, chevy, or chrysler. thier heads flow like crap and they are heavy.

"if you're not with us, you're against us". ah gee....ill try not to cry.

Well it was a T4, didnt know it was a PT71.  BTW, with a 95.5mm crank, its a 2.1L, not 2L.  With a 100mm crank, it would be a 2.2L.

you have to take the stroke of the crank and calculate it with the bore of the cyllinders followed by the rod size. no way of knowing what exactly what the displacement is without any one of those..

but ASSUMING that he used an 83mm bore and 144mm rods, it would give him 2066cc displacement

for a 2.2L you wont just need a 100mm crank. you'll also need 159mm/21mm Forged Rods and
83.5mm Pistons
