uhhh everyday...especially when your still in high school but the interior is perfect and thats what i would mod the most so it saves me some money cause i love it alot better than a honda interior but its all good

nope because no other car has the luxury that i like coupled with the solidity of an audi

nope, mainly because in that past i have choosen cars the are un-moddable or extremly hard to mod, i hit gold with my audi, the only other cars i know of that are cheap and easy to mod are Hondas and i wouldn't touch um.

No ........
Been there, done that and I like my Audi way better.
A list of some of the modded cars that I have had:
1992 - Nissan Sentra SE-R (bolt on mods)
1997 - Acura Integra LS (bolt on mods)
1990 - Honda Civic hatch (full JDM motor and tranny swap w/ bolt on mods)
Bolt on mods include:
Intake
Headers
exhaust
suspension
wheels & tires
i originally wanted a mazdaspeed protege...then i let my a$$ kiss the seat of an a4 and fell in love.

My audi is stock and will mostly stay that way. I may do suspension, wheels, and maybe a chip. I come from the world of DSMs and i still love them but i guess now that im older (26) I want something that feels good to drive. My talon was great, 350 hp on a 16g, but daily driving on a 2600 lb clutch gets annoying pretty fast and the overall fit and finish of the car is just something that disappointed me eventually.

That's what I like about the Audi. With the exception of the awd, (which I think is awesome), the car is by no means the best of anything but it is very good all around. The interior is more sophisticated, the engine is refined and with a few mods can produce good HP and the looks are awesome. By far this has been the funnest car I have had to drive as it handles the twisties with ease even though she is a little heavy.
My next car will definitely be in the Audi family.

No. I need ~1200 in parts right now. Clutch (so I'm upgrading with a lwfw), timing belt (so I'm getting a light weight pulley), rear brake pads (performance), and window regulator, but it comes with the car and it's completely worth it to me. And nothing makes a car like an interior, IMO. Everything else feels so cheap to me.
But I have a back-up vehicle, so I guess that's part of the comfort of having maintenence that I can't afford.

^you shouldn't get a light weight pulley

Why's that? I heard it throws an occasional misfire code, but I keep a code reader behind my seat for all the other codes I get, so no big deal there.
Edit: Read that it might "throw off the engine balance" and it's possible to lose power from it. I call BS on throwing off balance, big time, and same with losing power. It acts the same as a lightweight flywheel but to a smaller degree. I do agree that it's not worth the cost and the money is better spent elsewhere, but plan to replace it since I never plan on being in there again. If there are any other reasons, let me know, but the reasons I have found so far, I don't agree with, and I'm yet to find someone with bad personal experience.

my experience with lightweight pulleys is that the aluminum doesnt seem to grip the belts as well as the stock iron pulleys. This results in alot of squeeking and a chewed up belts.

there were a few people on the zine who had them, and they all ended up taking it off. says it makes no difference at best, and could possibly mess something up, so why get it?

honestly, since i've had my audi i havent looked back. i feel like purchasing anything (realistic) other than an audi would just be a downgrade. While i'm sure i wont drive my a4 forever, i do not see myself ever selling it, rather i would simply purchase a newer audi and start toying with that.

I have thought about it.
Then I think about how nice my car is for the price range and how classy it is.

I totally agree. I can't imagine ever selling my A4 - but I will definitely buy a newer Audi somewhere along the line. I could see myself owning a second car from a different manufacturer just for fun, like a BMW or a VW; but the Audi will always be my main ride.

Ive had my car for 5 years now and i wouldnt dream of selling her or anything else for any other car unless its another Audi. But even then Id still keep her cause shes my first LOL and ive driven other cars, and they just dont compare. The interior is perfect ( besides the cupholders... ) and the design... its just phukn timeless. I cant think of any other car that is this easily modded and still classy and luxurious.
So the answer is NO, unless you gave me an S4, or S6

I've certainly thought about trading, but never for something cheaper. Who knows what family my next car will be in.

One of my good friends actually got a 99. The funny thing about it was when he bought it he said he was just going to get rid of it in a couple months it was just to get him by. He just bought depo's and HID's and about to by springs.
I said to him when we were driving...YOu like it too much dont you. He agreed

Yeah, but I bought an '05 F-150 instead of the 540i I was looking at 'cause I needed a truck. I always consider going back to BMWs, but my A4 is just, well, I really can't explain it. Its too heavy, underpowered, maintenance is expensive, and gets horrible gas mileage. But, I just can't get rid of it. And I probably won't, either.
