93 audi 90 dash lights out, parking lights out, glove box lights out
hi guys, on my 1993 audi 90 quattro, the dash lights, parking lights, and glove box light all went out at the same time. i've already verified all of the fuses and relays seem to be okay. i've also verified all of the bulbs are okay.
does anyone have any ideas what else it could be? many thanks in advance!

dash lights in op
If your model is the same as some of the earlier ones, the left trunk hinge runs wires thru it that break. I have never heard mention of it , but have experienced it. There are better fixes ,also check to see if the fuse box is compromised.

so i'm still chasing this problem, which started as an intermittent problem that would sometimes resolve itself if you jiggle the fuse box in the engine bay near the driver side windshield.
it now will not work at all. the syptoms are:
-no dash lights
-no turn signals
-no vent blower (the entire climate control system/display seems to have no power)
-no windshield wipers
-power windows do not work
although the engine starts and runs fine, the above issues pretty much makes the car un-driveable
this is obviously some electrical gremlin but i can't figure out how these components are all related. i have already replaced all of the relays and verified the fuses are okay.
does anyone know where i could get hold of an electrical diagram? or have any suggestions on how to go about troubleshooting this issue? many thanks!

I would try a new ignition switch. You do not need to remove the whole assembly, just unplug the connector on the back of the switch and plug in a new one. You can turn the switch with a screwdriver to check for functions.
I did this thinking my ignition switch was why the engine would shut done randomly. It turned out it would shut down even with the new switch. Now it appears that my problem is the crankshaft position sensor, which I can't find on the block.
