Default 1993 audi quattro front strut replament/repair

o.k. my friend drop off his 93 audi quattro v6 5 speed
told me he need the front struts changed.
can anyone give me a heads up on any problems they ran into
on doing a job like this. does anyone have a how to on this.
he couldn't find a repair manuel which is always good when
working on something new
i worked on cars for about 7 years and never a audi.
also i hope this is in the right forum spot for this ? .

its all streight change.

Its always age. I had to change mine too.

Audi you will found out is an exelent car in the point of repair. all parts in the right points and are good placed.
just you need a spring compresor becouse there is a key on top and there is no safe way to take it out.

simply look at catalog. www.auto2.ru there is one like etka free.

and say to your friend if he didn't do his heater core he should anticipate failure in very near future.

I'm planning on chaging the front struts on my '93 100 quattro. I just bought KYB cartridge inserts. Is this something where the I can pull out the worn cartridge from the top without removing the spring and strut assembly?
