Eibach or H&R Sport Springs which is better
I have a 2002 A6 2.7T Quattro and am looking to lower it. Which is the better spring kit, Eibach Pro Kit or H&R Sport Springs? I still want a decent rideand do not want to have to add new struts or new shocks which is recommended with the H&R Sport Springs. HELP!
I would say Eibach, I had the Eibach Sportlines which lowered it 2.2 inches front and 2.0 inches rear on my old 240sx and even with stock shocks it rode, handled, and looked great.
I say K&W springs, my experience is the best i've had and yes i've also had Eibach wich is also good but this is much better in combination with Yellow Koni Shocks.

Panzrwagn is right. Lower springs are typically higher rate to prevent bottoming. To control these properly and have an acceptable ride ( no freeway hop ) you need more rebound damping. This usually implies a sport strut of some description or one with adjustable rebound damping like Koni offers. How come nobody ever considers 2Bennett Audimotive springs and Koni struts? They wind their own springs and tune the struts and springs to a package that matches the car's weight. It is an outstanding product.
