Default Anyone have a write up or how to on removing OEM wood trim?

Want to have them custom painted. Some pieces come off easy but unsure about others. Any write ups or how to's? Looking to remove all interior wood trim pieces.. Thanks much

If you go to carboncopydesigns.com and go to the FAQ section then click on Audi A6 C5 (1997-2004) it will provide a step by step. They also provice real carbon copy trim but they are just too expensive ($800) for me.

I've seen his carbon trim in a C5 A6 (a local guy bought a set) and it is terrific stuff. Fit and finish is very nice...OEM quality, but the carbon weave is a bit larger than the OEM so it looks more dramatic, less neutral.

I still prefer the look of OEM, but compare the $800 to the OEM price of $2500+ and I think choice is clear. Of course, I have OEM, but I paid less than $600 on eBay Germany a couple of years ago.
