Hey guys.. i got a certified pre-owned 3.0L today 2004 Model.

I am looking for two things.. What are the proformance modifications that i can do to have a faster (reliable) car? Can someone list me the steps i should take and please include details?

and also.. I want to make it look unique. Im thinking of debadging the A4 and 3.0L labels off the trunk. What type of body kits/ wheel spacers/ other things could i look into buying to make my car unique?

Congrats on the 3.0
But hate to break it to you the 3.0 isnt the best for modding.
If you have the cash you could supercharge it.
If not , go with a cold air intake, and an exuast.

 

congrads, and yea supercharge is the only thing for 3.0 on the other hand if you got the 1.8T the list would go on and on and on just like the Energizer bunny but good luck with whatever you decide to do

okay.. about the proformance.. i think im going to do the intake and exhaust like you guys said.. 1st question- would that void the warrenty at all?

 

The intake shouldnt void it. But Im not sure about the exuast.

Iv'e had a 3.0 for a while now, definatly more mods available for the 1.8T but thers a pretty decent list of mods our there for the 3.0 as well, you'll just haveta look a little harder.
So far the mods I've found for the 3.0 are the CAI intake by hyperflow, light weight driveline pulleys, the neuspeed P - Chip, two superchargers, the most commonly known being the pes version, but ABT Sportline also makes a supercharger for the 3.0 as well. Theres also a ton of exhausts out there, neuspeed offers a catback system, as well as Borla, Miltek and Remus. I think you're best bet would be the Borla but if you're willing to spend the money, you can go with the Miltek
