Default My new tailights

Ok so I bought some EURO E-codes from audib5.com and they are pretty sweet easy to install etc. etc. But yesterday my sister wanted to check them out so I started the car and hit the brake. She said they looked nice and I asked her to go in and hit the brake so I could take a look but there is 1 problem. The drivers side brake light always stays lit. It is a 2 filiment bulb and 1 filiment should go off when I release the brake but it doesn't. I check the wiring and everything seemed to be up to par. so I disconnected the bulb to put a new bulb in but realized that that wouldn't make sense. I tried everything but still the bulb is being dumb. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this? I will put a pic in here so u understand what I am talking about.

put [img] [/img] around the link to the photo

as for the problem, the only thing i can think of is it has something to do with the rear fog light. either the fog light is on and your confusing it with your brake light or the wiring is messed up

If you have a brake light that stays on that sounds like a ground issue to me.

the rear defogger was not on. And I don't even think these new ones have the rear defogger anyways. I ground wires looked fine but IDK is there any possibility it is the bulb? After thinking alittle bit about it it wouldn't make sense

no, not the rear defogger (defrost?), audi's have a rear fog light so when u turn it on the cars behind u see you easier.

Not defogger! Fog light! Audis have a single rear fog light... It is the button next to the front fogs
