Ok, so here is my situation. I bought a 2009 ibis white a4, WITHOUT the be xenon leds...i know...stupid So this is what i've done. I've ordered, throught KUFATEC a set of complete retrofit bi xenon leds, and i think they are even better looking than the standard ones, because they do not have the side amber marker, and they are OEM.

Here is my problem. The install is easy. But, I have to recode the vehicle so it knows that is has xenon/leds now, instead of shitty halogens....i am told by the kufatec salesman, that i need vag-com?? to reprogram the car.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT VAG-COM IS?? I am no mechanic, not even close, nor have i dabbled, yes, dabbled, into modding cars at all until now. Can anyone help me? I guess i need to buy a vag-com cable? has anyone used it or can anyone please tell me, fsulevishness@msn.com or, 703 517 8892 (name is mike) how to use one or hook it up or where to buy one. The lights will be here in about 1 month, CANT WAIT to see them on.

You might want to repost this on Audiworld.com...lots of guys over there are familiar with VAG-COM.

Also may want to email the guy who posted this thread about his experience swapping out his lights....
