Default New 07 Audi A4 Owner

Just bought a 07 audi a4 2.0T and have some questions for you experts!!

1. It didnt come with mats so what should i get? Carpet or rubber and where to get it cheaper?

2. Oil changes. should I take it to the dealer so it gets changed properly since it has a pollen filter too etc?

Would appreciate the help!

congrats on the choice. i'd get the carpeted mats. i'm sure the dealer can get you some. carpet mats look better.

for oil changes i take it to the dealer. it's just a personal choice-i figure they're more honest and they know the car inside out. the last time i had the oil changed at a lube shop the mechanic complained that the oil filter is above the suspension and he spilt alot of oil on it and the ground. i ended up getting some of the oil on my driveway. the dealer has a special funnel or something that doesn't cause the mess when the filter is replaced. i get the oil changed every 5000 miles.

Service says change every 10K miles. I would have the dealer do it if you have some sort of warranty so the dealer can properly document your service. I have a warranty up to 100K with the maintanance plan so the dealer does all my stuff every 10k for free. I will just trade it in at 100k miles so I have no worries. Ebay is a great place for mats cheap. I like rubber because they are tougher and won't stain.
