Ok, here goes....

I have noticed that some individuals have "de-badged" on their signature lines....what is it???? is it the governor taken off??? Please advise...i know it is a dumb question, but i need to know.

when people have debaged their cars it means that they have taken the A4/A6 or whatever model sticker AKA badge off the back of their car it also generally means they have taken the engine type badge off as well.

i had the same question. so, why do they do this?

it makes the back look nice and clean

i say keep the badges or emblems

yeah that does look pretty good. i think it looks nice when people around here debadge their car and then get it chipped and put the APR tuned or GIAC tuned badge on

Thats a trait that ricer's started.. I like the badges... "Clean" is not what is being accomplished by removing them.. Just looks like someone stole them.

if you debadge your car, make sure u take it to a body shop and get the holes filled with weld and some paint thrown back on there, dont just leave the holes, that just screams rice...

the apr tuned badge is a gr8 way to make people scrach their heads, i think it would look sweet in place of the 1.8t quattro cymbol...

If you own an Audi, don't you want people to know it? Keep the badges!

People who buy a car for the badges or name are republicans. Buy it for what it is, not what other people think it is...otherwise you should just get a body kit for your rice rocket that will make it look like an Audi and slap some badges on it...
do people really buy cars to sport the badges...f*** ill sell you a my red rider wagon with my A4 badges on it if it will make you feel cool...you could tell all your frinds you own an Audi and be the coolest kid in Highschool

I left the 4 rings, but ditched the a4 3.0 quattro...

why they are a pain to wash, wax, and clean around. Also i like clean lines. of the rear only broken by the 4 rings.

Cars are a personal taste, just like the mods we do to them. some people are 1970 vw vans spewing 100's of pounds of contaminants each year. Some are truck folk. some are Toyota prius. Some.. well the Lucky few... are Audi people.

Papa bear had totally debadged his car...it looked pretty clean...but what was the deal...was he ashamed of his car?

Mama bear had added a V8 badge to her car...because she wanted eveyone to know.....why did she need everyone to know?

Baby bear's car was just right...no debadge...no extra added badges...very clean, without any hint of rice!

So Goldielocks got into Baby bears car and was about to drive away...when the BIG BAD WOLF appeared from his hiding place in the back seat and killed her.

The moral of the story....Stockbadge, Debadge, or Overbadge.....doesnot really matter....the BIG BAD WOLF is gonna get you anyway,
so don't worry about what other people think and just do what you want.

Get the exhaust and Supercharger(...and suspension, and...credit cards are the devil) then come down to Nor-cal and hit up the race track with me...bring the wife...she can hang out with my little lady and talk about how lucky they are to have men with supercharged Audi's...your badges might weight you down on the track though:D

Guess I should have checked this post since I posted. I don't think any part of what I said implied that I bought my car to look cool because it was an Audi. I don't spend a lot of time throwing 40 grand around to look cool. I just think it's kind of tacky to take a perfect looking automobile and take the emblems off. Just my personal opinion. Awful lot of pissed off people in this forum...

They are only held on with tape so if you have holes i think you may have taken them off wrong

debaged or not people should know its an Audi either way(if your dealing with an actual car enthusiast and not some punk douchbag), all their cars are unique and definitly stand out over any ricer. In my own opinion leave the rings on the back of the car that way when the ricers are looking at your ass as you fly by they will know it was a much suppirior car!
