I want to put 17" rims on my a6
My A8 has 17 with 225/55R17-they look wide,very nice

Audi has an option for A6- 17's with a 235/45R17-seems wide so I might go with the 225/55R17 like the A8

If you have 17" rims on your A6 what tires and tire size do you have. The rims I am looking at are 17-7.5. Pictures would really help if you have any. I also noticed that 225/60R17(an option for the A8) are about $100 cheaper per tire (Michelin) and they only have a 12mm difference in height.

Not these exact sizes but you get the idea. (looks like they have larger rims on back)


Please take note I do not want to restart the great tire debate...Lets not go there. I'm really curious to see what the 60s would look like. I don't want it to look to meaty.

 

I'm running my third set of Pirelli Fourseasons, 235/45-R17. They're on the oem rims. Hope that helps.
