I'll be making a ram-air for the S this weekend. I got ahold of a spare headlight housing for the passenger side; I'll be cutting and shaping the lens for what will become a ducted intake. A couple of other ideas are in my head, too. We'll see how this goes. :)

Pics and comments to follow as I develop the project.

Got 3/4 of the project finished today. A lot of cutting and fitting. Got too tired to continue with the fine tuning of the fitment; I'll do that tomorrow.
But... it looks great so far!!!

are you planning on modifying your stock intake system to incorporate this? If so, where were you going to join the two pipes. If not, are you just planning on placing the end of your new air tube infront of your old filter. Also I had considered this but was stalled on what type of piping to use and how to integrate it into the intake.

P.S. Do you think you will have to change your air/fuel ratio for this, usually ram air does exactly that...RAMS a lot of air into the engine so wouldnt you need to increase the fuel a little bit as well?

Flex tube mated to a modified air box.

I don't expect it to "ram" so much air into the system that it is unmanageable. My modified MAF should help with this issue - I hope!

Taking a break right now - lunch.
Making good progress, but I'm taking my time.
Pics to follow - tonight or tomorrow.
