I have someone that is selling s4 suspension i was wondering if it would fit on my 97 a4 1.8t quattro. year of the s4 that the springs came from is like 2000-01

I think it will fit, but i dont think it will work. S4 is a heavier car and its quite different from a 97 a4. you wont be able to achieve waht you want, nor do i think that it would be "safe".

Not worth it. Not only are the spring rates wrong for your much lighter front end, but it's barely an improvement. Like buying stock sport suspension for the 2.8 and putting it in your car. You can do better.
