Hi all,
Fist off let me say that I absolutely love the S4, and I am well aware that he would smoke me so very very bad. I currently own an 03 saab 9 3. :(
Anyway, Driving home from work yesterday evening I was getting on the freeway and there was a silver s4 LP NRARE4M. I've seen the car before to and from work.
We get on the highway very leisurely, I follow the s4 for a while then he pulls ahead. I decide to catch up to him so I did. I continue to follow him, not very close, just a respectful distance back. We are cruising along between 90-98 mph on I-75. Then where the lane ends we both merge over and BAM! I look to right to see a cop had just got on the freeway. I flash my highbeams to the S4 and slow down real quick. Unfortunately the Audi didn't see and he continued at that pace...Until he saw the cop that is. Needless to say he got pulled over. I felt so bad and actually considered pulling over as well cause I deserved a ticket also.
The cop didn't have his radar gun on, (the rat bastard). As we both had radar detectors.
Today on the way to work, I was running late so I didn't see S4 NRARE4M on the way here, I'm going to drive around some parking lots at lunch to see if I can find him. Hope he's not pissed at me. It was all in good fun and I we weren't being aggresive or changing lanes like a couple punks. Just enjoying our cars.
Hopefully the cop gave him a break.
P.S. Was hoping that he was a member of this forum...but I'm guessing no.
