I'm about to get an allroad next week, a 2004 2.7T from a friend of mine who hardly drove it. It's immaculate, but one thing I want to know is why it was discontinued? I'm 99% sure I'm buying the car, but I havent really found any info on why they stopped making them, but I just read that they did.
Also, I have a little boy coming in another 1.5 months. Does anyone know if a double stroller will fit in the rear? With 2 kids... we'll need lots of space.
Thanks!! I'm looking forward to owning my first Audi!!

There is going to be a gap in production of the allroad. The 2005 allroad is still based on the previous generation of A6 avants. Audi saved some chassis' from the A6 to continue the allroad as long as possible. They are going to make a new allroad, but it is going to be redesigned because they have run out of old A6 shells. It's like what they did with the S4 when the B6's came out. B5 S4's ran from 2000 to 2002, there wasn't a 2003 S4 because they ran out of B5 bodies, then it returned on the B6 platform in 2004. This time they were prepared for the transtion of a new generation, and they released the B7 S4's at about the same time as the normal B7 A4's.
B5 chassis ran from 199X-2001
B6 chassis rane from 2002-2005
and the B7 chassis was introduced mid-2005 as a 2005 M.Y.

Umm I'm guessing you havn't been keeping up with Audi news? Audi released images of the new Allroad months ago. Q7 is not a replacement.
