thats cool!!! actually I had thoughts of buying one just for the performance aspect but im not willing to trade my A4 for a neon just yet !!! ;) still mullin it over if I see one really cheap I might just get a second vehicle to fill up the space in my garage that I dont have

I think it's in the high 13's low 14's I acutally raced one the other day, wasn't much of a race.... I hate when someone has to try and showoff....

i used to be a valet and i drove a brand new yellow one. it was alright, had alot of jump but it rode like crap and drove like crap.

Dude, seriously guys. Come on now...the SRT 4 is one badass lawnmower!! You could, like, totally mow twice as many lawns man! That would mean....5 times 7....minus 3...plus ummm.....J..... divided by sine of Q.....dude I dunno, but that's like a lot of money er something.....i think....

I'm sorry if this offends any loyal Dodge fans, but the neon is a piece of crap any way you cut it. I drove one of those for a about a week probably about a year ago when my Durango was in the shop. So I was thinkin "Sweet, I've got a nice little beater car that I can tear around in for a while!" Honestly, I could not wait to get my car back! A FRIGGIN DURANGO HANDLES BETTER AND HAS MORE POWER THAN A NEON!!!! WTF!!

I have no complaints. Of course I have nothing to compare it to. I'd really like to drive someone elses A4 that has a different chip and the same mods to see. It was expensive, about $550.00 when I got it. The engine runs as smooth as the day I bought it, it boosts evenly and all of my values on the scan softeware are exactly where they should be. And, I've got 115,000 miles on it too. How bout yours?

he has a probe GT that he thinks is the shit... N/A he said he topped it out at 170 w/ an engine rebuild... and that w/ the twin turbos he just put on it he should be able to 'lite it up to 220mph'

Oh man! Have I got the sound clip for you guys! This just further demonstrates that, yes, some people really are that stupid! Playing off the guy Shon was talking about, this guy is also a compulsive liar and he actually believes himself! It's a half hour clip of a radio show segment that was deicated to explanations of how people get out of tickets, but they ended up hitting a gold mine with this idiot and just spent the whole time letting him dig his own hole! And trust me, he dug a VERY deep hole! I'll dig it up again and post it here.

the great part is, he has no liscense.

that car is like a 13 second car, so it's quick as shit, but still, its a NEON!!! i went to look at it with a friend of mine, and seriously, it looked like things were pasted on, and if u went too fast, the doors would fly off.

for 20g's its not bad, but spend the extra $50-$75 a month and get a WRX. plus a neon is like an eclipse, who caes if it's turbo'd its still a freakin' neon (or eclipse)

yeah the wrx is cool, but for the money, why not get the tiburon? the top of the line one with every option is quick as hell, and looks sweet. plus, it handles awesome. there are also a shitload of mods you can do on that car.

they are actually turning it into a 4wd i believe in about 2 yrs.

Still, WRX sti = 4.6 , 0 to 60, tiburons are not doing that.

I drag race every weekend, and all the ones I have seen that are stock are running mid 14s. I have seen some modded ones running low 13s.

which ones you've seen? the tib? the wrx? the srt?

why would you want to get a bare STi instead of a fully loaded tib. both cars are fast (albeit not equally as fast) but at least the tib is attractive, whereas the STi is not, especially the inside. i guess it all comes down to what you are willing to pay for and taste. in comparing the 2 cars, i would rather have the tib and get more for my money....but then again, i'm an AUDIGIRLIE!!![sm=smiley2.gif]

srt 4 whips man, i drove one and it flys, no turbo lag. Only downfall is the steering sucks, u tend to slide in corners if u go to fast. (i work at a car dealership)

Srt's arent made from the hemi motor. they dont have a hemispherical head. the srt motor is DOHC and the humi motor uses an OHV.

And how do you get a FWD car to slide in the corners. if anything it should go straight through the corner

yes front wheel drive cars slide in the corners its caller understeer ....I have the same problem. When both front wheels are spinning they dont want to turn the car too.

Also if I take a corner right I can get the rear to slide out.
