Got a 01 TT coupe 225hp, 47000Miles, already chipped with APR chip to 263hp, just added the Forge DVR Diverter Valve, the red one that works with diaphram inside, cool!!(anyone know if added this valve will increase hp?)
And I am planning to get the below:
1.injen or neuspeed cold air intake, +5-8hp ($~190)
2.borla cat-back exhaust, +8-10hp ($~300)
3.Light Flywheels, +30-40hp ($~400)
4.APR Turbo Guage ($~200)
5.Brembo Cross Drilled Front and Rear Rotors ($~250)
Estimated tune up cost $~1340
Estimated output power ~315hp
Is it Worth???? Anyone have any suggestion or comment??
Thanks guys!

It may be worth the added pleasure of driving a TT with upgrades, but I think the HP numbers are a bit optimistic.
And no... the DV will not add any HP. It is simply for peace of mind.
Personally, I think the brakes should be a low priority. Audi brakes are very capable systems. Upgrade the pads and add stainless steel lines if you want to get the best benefit from the system.

Ok so i have read alot about the Forge dv. No bhp increase, yes you do get the chirp between gears but, from what i have found. In the TT the DV will eventually damage the TT's turbo. A simple way to achieve the chirp noise would be:
1)a intake (will also add hp which you have know)
2)and simply filpping the DV. meaning taking the two large inlet hoses and changing them arround. This allows the valve to close and open more freely and will provide that chirp noise. This is the way that the DV is in many cars and is a totaly safe mod. I would recommend this over replacing the valve.

be aware that a 4 wheel dyno will caost about $450 for three runs. I speak from expeirince the flywheel will not add horsepower anywhere near those numbers you have listed. well it really depends on how heavy the stock one is and how light the new one is but still expect maybe 10-12 hp realistically. this is a great mod as it allows you rev much much much quicker.

I understand replacing the DV voids the warranty. I also believe most of the aftermarket BOVs are 100% atmospheric? What's the point? Is the stock DV that bad as to be dangerous to leave in place?

"The point" is the ever-so-cool pshhhhhh noise it makes. The stock DV isnt dangerous to leave in place, they are just prone to failure. People add the new DV as preventative maintenance.
