View Full Version : I don't know about you guys...
brrman 07-29-2004, 04:43 AM I'm getting pretty goddamn tired of this site timing out on me. I spend 10 minutes writing a detailed reply and the fawking site craps out on me. Sometimes takes 30 seconds to wait for a reply to post, if it doesn't crash.
I give it another week of this and I move on.
fresh1 07-29-2004, 06:13 AM HAHAHAHA i feel ya pain! dont ya hate when that happens
Oh by the way, your cars looking SWEET man!
Jestnomen 07-29-2004, 09:41 AM awww come on brrman, don't leave us. Yeah the site reliability sucks arse.
norcaltrojan 07-29-2004, 06:57 PM I'm right there with ya..
HEY AUDIFORUMS....UPDATE THE DAMN SOFTWARE!!!
audiboy1618 07-29-2004, 07:09 PM I have highspeed connection and its hard to get around this frickin site sometimes!
Encrypto 07-29-2004, 07:22 PM Yea, I know the site owner just bought AudiLife.com which has hudnreds of dollars of software upgrades loaded up with a much easier to use format. I don't know why it is so slow or why they have not taken advantage of this software. It makes it really difficult to navigate let alone read and reply. Let's hope soon.

ImolaS4 07-29-2004, 08:16 PM Hey guys... post your gripes on the Forum Issues forum. The Admin will read it sooner there, than here, in this forum.
I learned a trick brrman... I write out my post, then copy it, then cancel, then refresh the thread, then fast reply, then paste, then OK. Every time I do it that way it posts immediately. Don't know why, but it works, and it's certainly faster than waiting to see if the post will time out or not.
Doose 07-29-2004, 11:48 PM Yeah, I just posted the other day how I'd never had any delay problems on the site. Low and behold, I started to that day. Now about 50% of my posts are timed-out. Really starting to piss me off.
ImolaS4 07-29-2004, 11:53 PM Well... I jus got word from the Admin that it has been the server connection. They are working on it right now and hope to have it resolved asap.
Doose 07-30-2004, 12:14 AM Excellent. It took me three attempts to post this one. I hope they get it fixed soon, this is becoming a real pita. Who is/are the admin(s) for this site?
ImolaS4 07-30-2004, 12:49 AM If you are a registered user/member, you can click on the Member List at the top of your screen or you can go here: Member List (http://www.audiforums.com/memberlist.asp) and look up "Admin".
You can PM the Admin any time, but it may take time for her to respond - she is very busy with several sites. She will respond, but you have to be patient. BTW: Her name is Amanda.
If there is anything I can do, you can always PM me. I'm a moderator now.
Doose 07-30-2004, 01:22 AM Sweet! I posted on the forum issues board about that. Check it out if you get a chance.
This time out thing is getting fokking ridiculous. 8 tries to post this.
brrman 07-30-2004, 08:18 PM congrats on the moderator deal, Imolas. You live here enough, so the shoe definitely fits.
Well, my car is totalled, but I'll still be here. I guess I was just in a pissy mood the other day.
My search for a Santorin 2001 Avant A4 has begun.
Hey guys,
We have a ticket open with MCI and they are working on fixing the timeouts. Last night we ran all kinds of tests on our end and there no problems. The problem is on MCI's end... :(
We just have to hang in there for a day or two more... :(
Thanks,
-Ralph
