EvilA4 12-26-2005, 06:27 PM If you have heard, I bought 2 xbox360s to sell. One made me quite a bit while the other has not sold. How much am I offering it for, you ask? You will have to check the listing below on Craigslist. Like I said, I have something to offer which will make this worth your while, which makes this bundle worth even more in the long run. Even though you are paying above the store price, not only would you have it now; you will be saving a shitload of money as well. PM me and I will fill you in with all the details.

This is the listing. This price is nothing compared to what I can offer you.
flyboy 12-26-2005, 08:34 PM i've heard alot of people comlain that after about an hour to all the way up to 20 they just start spazind and overheat. Have you heard anything about that. My friend spent all day and all night inline and got his and it spazed on him in 20 min. maybe just the first batch.
EvilA4 12-26-2005, 08:40 PM Could be... I havent actually opened one up and tried it. Its hard to say when the demo units at Target, Walmart, and EB run just fine. They run all day too. The power supply is a total beast, though... maybe it has something to do with that.
Im hoping this thing sells because I REALLY dont want it until a mod chip comes out for it. I cant believe not one person is curious as to what I can offer them along with this system.
CheckMyVitals 12-26-2005, 08:43 PM you offering blowjobs or somethign?
EvilA4 12-26-2005, 08:49 PM I thought YOU might say that.
Basically, I am offering any EA game for any system at 10 to 20 bucks. That includes the next gen systems.
EA is the largest 3rd party developer in the world. The majority of games for any system come from EA. If you look at the 360 lineup, more than half are EA titles. Instead of paying $180 for 3 games, it costs you $60 if you went through me. I think thats a pretty sweet fucking deal. This is how you would save money in the end... or even make money, it doesnt matter to me.
cary12 12-26-2005, 09:02 PM I'll wait until they have the problems fixed with it. The computer is crashing with all the games and you can't get through half of them. Typical Microsoft product...

Really, I haven't heard of that. Is Microsoft going to have a recall or something?
cary12 12-26-2005, 09:28 PM A friend of mine started having problems with his and they told him to send it back to them and they would fix it and send it back within two weeks. He was pretty mad. We did some research and found that it's a problem with a ton of their units and it's a recall thing. Microsoft sells too many products to get it right. They don't care. Once you put that money down, it's theirs.
I've never been a big X Box fan anyway. I'm a PS2 guy. The new PS3 is going to be pretty sweet.

Computer? If your talking about the XBOX 360, its a far cry from a computer.
cary12 12-26-2005, 09:35 PM It has a hard drive doesn't it?
All I know is that everything that Microsoft has come out with lately is junk. My friends would crash in the middle of games and they told him to send it in and it would be fixed within 2 weeks and they would send it back to him. We did some research and found that they have had all kinds of problems with the 360.

Isn't a CPU a computer?? I thought it was but I might be wrong?

O_O... Just because something has a HDD does not make it a computer... is the IPOD a computer? The PS2 is a far cry from a computer, but you can attach a HDD to it. It has a CPU and video card as well... but its not a computer. Its based off of computer technology to do one thing, play games. Its a home console. Out of the box, the 360 is not a computer... after the mod chips come out, who knows.
AND STOP DETERING PEOPLE FROM BUYING MY XBOX, DAMN YOU!! ;)
S_R_N83 12-26-2005, 10:39 PM Well I would say the 360 is the closest to a computer than any other console..but it is just that..a console. If I had the money to buy one, I would regradless if some had been known to have problems. Microsoft will get it fixed eventually.
EvilA4 12-26-2005, 10:43 PM Did you know there are lawsuits for Sony's PS2 and that they were designed to break within 2 years (My first gen system refuses to read disks and the power supply is dying). Yes, some XBOXs will be flawed... if someone came up to you and said AUDIs were the worst cars, what would you say? Now he backs up his claim by saying he owned one and had nothing but problems with it. You might say thats only one person, and that doesnt represent all AUDIs. Nothing is perfect... you need to realize this. Everything you get has some sort of flaw waiting to happen.
Ignorance is bliss, I guess.
S_R: Actually, the closest thing we had to a computer was the original XBOX. Almost everything inside was interchangable with computer parts. You could swap in any HDD etc. Once it was modded, you could run LINUX off of it. Some of my friends even gutted it out and put them in towers.
The 360 is a REALLY REALLY complicated piece of machinery. Opening the 360 and the original XBOX shows the difference. The old XBOX just has a DVD, HDD, and the mother board... it looks like the inside of an average computer neatly packed in a giant box... it wasnt hard to hack either. Once I find a pic of the inside of the 360, Ill post it. :)
audiboy1618 12-26-2005, 11:39 PM Dude your selling something for twice its sale price, which is cool, i would do the same. But dont come on here and make it out to be such a great deal.
EvilA4 12-27-2005, 01:43 AM What I am offering is a damn good deal... something you wont be able to get if you just buy the XBOX in stores.
13 games = $780
Through me, 13 games =$260.
If you were to sell those games, which should be no problem =$455.
This also translates to the new PS3 which hasnt come out.
Its about looking towards the future, you are paying alot now to have it be made up in the future. You could even sell the games if you wanted.
Thats not good?
Flip_x 12-27-2005, 06:04 AM there is nothing wrong with my xbox 360, i use it almost everyday for hours, it doesnt overheat or anything, i bet the ones that its happening to dont have it in a big enough space and it overheats. anyways i think its a good deal but thats up to you peeps,
EvilA4 12-27-2005, 07:26 AM I really want to say its a mixed batch with the 360. It was rushed, for sure. For the few that had crashes and overheating... there are more that have systems running fine. The best way to find out is go to the game shops and ask about the demo models. Did they need to replace them? Those things are on a constant soak test, they are always on. Those things are also incased in a small and (what I think) poorly ventilated plexiglass box. Just let me know if any of you are interested.
At least someone actually READ what I wrote. [&:]
BLAZEDUPBEE 12-28-2005, 12:58 PM Everyone should know with the 1st batch of consoles there are usually some bugs that need to be corrected. Usually they arent discovered until alot of disgruted consumers complain. thats why i tend to wait for a few months after the debut of the console to purchase it. ive had my xbox for a while now and it hasnt given me any trouble.
EvilA4 12-29-2005, 10:07 PM I think there are bugs with any system at any time. Of course, the first run of 360s was rushed... but look at the DEMO units running all day at retailers. I went to five different places and asked how theyve been running... all answers were the same "No problems, it doesnt freeze or shut off."
