I've been a CF tinker'er for a short time and I JUST* (as in today) bought my first audi... an 2001 a6.

Any suggestions on what part might be a good hit to start with? Not that I have really any free time to fiddle but if I get an itch do build something, I'd like to build something I can sell a few of :)

CF is gay if it's not real and just a sticker. Believe me, it looks cheap as hell. There have been many cars that have come into my shop with that shit. Terrible.

I asked Audi about getting the CF interior from them for my car and they said it was around 3k. Oem carbon fiber for all the interior. I decided that was way to much to look cool and decided against it.

just pull all your trim peices off and cf them yourself. its not really that hard just time consuming

just go to lltek.com, they have pre-made kits that go over your stock trim. The kits are awesome and have tons of pieces. Especially for the late model cars. I tried to paste a page from the catalog, but it was just showing blanks. Check out the B7 and TT kits, they must have 30+ pieces! They have real carbon fiber, and then they have yellow, red, blue, and silver kits that aren't carbon, but they look exactly like CF, its a weave of some sort, its not the stupid sticker looking fake stuff

LLtek stuff is stick on crap and has no place inside an Audi.

If you really want a CF interior and haven't checked out the Carbon Copy website above you should.

We have just commisioned a set of CF S4 door blades and mirror caps.

that work is very impressive, but how much is the trim right from audi...is it more than $800?

OEM RS4 CF trim from Audi?

About $1600-1800 depending on the dealer.

You can't beat OEM for CF. Audi's CF is beautiful and exquisitly done.

I just did the engine bay and door trim of my R8 with OEM stuff from OEMpl.us Great stuff. I'm still waiting on some additional pieces before I tackle the center console, the trim around the dash and display.

Here is the installation of the c/f, step by step. (http://www.yellowdogracing.com/Audi.htm)

Yes, and it just as good in looks and quality as the OEM trim IMO.

If you are interested just pm me as I work with Terry on a lot of projects.

You will not regret it as the pictures do not do the quality justice. It looks 10x better in person. When you are ready, just let me know.
