they use the same engine on new RS4 but much heavier than the RS4 and less performance
BTW does anybody know about the new RS6. I think they will use the new S8 v10 turbo engine 450hp.
Does anybody know if its yes i think rs4 still beat the new RS6
Because the new S8 is only 35kg heavier than the new S6

 

NO your wrong the S6 and S8 will have the V10 FSI engine, not the same power, the S8 will have slightly more

And nobody has any info on an RS6 yet considering the S6 isnt even out yet

 

I have read that the new RS6 is expected to have more than 500hp stock. Maybe around 540.

I wonder how much room that leaves a person to mod that V10 - like it would need it.

 

I went to the car show last month and was speaking to the AUDI rep. He mentioned that the next generation RS6 was to be the V10 rated at 550 hp! It makes sense. The latest AMG E class with the 6.3 litre motor is rated over 500 hp and the M5 around the same. Why get into the game and produce an expensive ride with virtually the same output. At this level of pricing the game is really about outdoing the competition, isn't it !
