Default vibration when turning

no response yet, doesn't anyone else have this problem????

i have an early '05 s4 and when i turn extreme left or right my car vibrates. is it the stock tires that are creating this problem? no noises other than the vibration. if anyone can help, that would be great...thanks!!!

Kinda sounds like a power steering issure or maybe a quattro issue. Sometimes when turning full lock the wheel speeds are different enuf to cause a vibration in the center diff of the trans. That is more of a normal condition. Otherwise you may have a problem in the power steering system. In any case take it to the dealership and have them figure it out. Thats why you have the warranty.

extreme left or right, it will judder/vibrate because the wheels will be touching there limit on lock, could even be touching the side walls if you have changed the wheels

Two things to consider with wheel shudder...
First is your tire tread pattern. I just got new tires and started having the symptoms. Nothing to worry about
Next is 4wd. All wheels are pushing at the same time in (generally) different directions. Try disengaging the ESP, and see what happens

Bad thing might be your tie-rods. They are fragile on these cars

Cheers

EVERYONE...thanks for your help! seems like a tire issue. softer tires will correct the issue. i'll have to wait when i upgrade my wheels/tires....car is bone-stock, but as soon as it's worth showing i'll post some pics. thanks again to all!
