Default xenon in snow storm - bad experience

Hello all

Two weeks ago we bought our first Audi... a new 2005 AllRoad 4.2, loaded minus the nav system. As all of you with AllRoads must wish, our 1st ride home from the dealer was in a snow storm. I was excited about the trip home as we signed the papers, but the paperwork, sale pitch for more stuff, and preflight instructions dragged on well past sunset. When I finally got behind the wheel to go, the snow was coming down heavy. The xenon lamps illuminated the falling snow as if my high beams were on. It was very distracting and required driving slower in the right lane as others passed by. I thought it may be the beam alignment but after driving the car a few more nights, the lamps should be set a bit higher. Just wondering if there is a solution?

My xenon headlights can become kind of blinding in heavy snow as well. No solution that I know of. Sorry.
