Default New Old 1994 Audi 100 CS

Just bought this car last night. Looks and runs great. Blue with tan interior. Everything working except the passenger door will not open from the inside?! Car has 125K. I paid 4000 with plates, title, tax, ect. It was an e-bay purchase so I am still very nervous as to what lies ahead. Today I plan to run it by a shop that works on Audi's called Goltz Motors in Deerfield IL.
This is my first Audi, an old friend of mine used to say how much he enjoyed working on his old Audi, he said they made "sence". So I hope to use this car as a DIY project, but also to cruise down the highway 22 miles to work and back. Hence the nervouseness. Anyway, this forum has been encouraging, now I guess I am in!
Cheers, Matt.

Thanks! Mecanic was amazed at how well the car has been kept, for a Chicago car. Totally clean. Everying is perfect, except for the passenger side door latch. I do need to do some maintenace. Treans fluid is dirty, oill change, ect. My mechanic also wanted me to try to figure out if the timing belt has been changed.....Is there a way to find out? I think I might know where this car was maintained, but I do not know the owner. So I will a try a phone call. Mechanic also mentioned some caps or something that should be replaced if he does the timing belt, does that make sense. I thought I might give the door a shot myself. This 12 year old car is a dream on the expressway!!
