Default Broken Headlight Washer

One of the headlight washers on my 98 A4 (2.8L) broke today. Anyone had to fully replace one of these? If so what was the cost, and did you get it taken care of at a dealership or elsewhere? Thanks.

The top cover piece broke off as well as the pin (part the top cover hooks onto) and part of the top of the actual sprayer.

I did one of these on a 97 A6 which has the forward popouts, I think 98 changed to the bumper popouts, but I paid about 50 dollars in parts and did it myself. I don't quite remember the price because I replaced the headlight, trim, corner lens, and the bumper of a toyota pickup along with it. If it is just the cover it is probably cheaper, but you have to paint it yourself/ have the dealer replace it. I would say ten to fifteen. I replaced a large portion of the mechanism.

my ones are broken as well. many people here told me that it's not really worth it. the
dealer told me it'd cost around $300! so everyone told me to just get caps and stick it
on there so that i would'nt have the 2 ungodly holes in my bumper.

Hopefully it will not be $300. However, I wont know until monday when the dealer out here opens again. If it is anything over $100 i dont think I would actually replace it so it is again functional. Id rather just have a cap there so there isnt a hole in my bumper. I still have the top cover but the connecting part is broken. I guess if it comes down to it I could always just rig something up so it stays down.
