Hi

New to this forum as of 20 minutes ago.

I have two Audi 80's. My 16v version will not start. Or should I say fires up when cold occaisionally but dies shortly afterwards. I have been told that the pulse is dying. Is this ECU problem or a component telling the ECU to shut down. It is not getting any fuel!

HELP! Please?

Not sure what you mean by pulse? Do you mean spark?
It may be that the failed component can't sustain the idle, but until you either get it fully diagnosed or ask whoever told you, "...that the pulse is dying" what they meant, we won't be able to help.
