Default Bigger Turbo?

Im new to tuning a TT. I have a 225 APR chipped TT and i was just wondering if there was a bigger or another type of turbo i could get that would fit and give me more power and if so what do they cost? Also are the 2 side mounted intercoolers better then the one front mount? Can any one help me out?

sheesh, a chipped 225 tt... thats more than enough power for me... u tt'ers are all spoiled and stuff...

i would be more than happy with just a chip... i'd spend your money on brakes and suspension

FMIC is better than the two side mounts...but only with a bigger turbo...

There are so many big turbos to look into ....How much HP/TQ you looking to get?
What have you done to the TT so far (performance-wise)... have you done Turbo Inlet Pipe, CAI, Pullies, Exhaust? After that get your chip customized and you should be good to go!!

For power, I'd like to have over 300hp as well as torque. I have the apr chip and i have just purchased the modshack vdta along with the ****. I dont have anything else. Should I look into other parts before getting a bigger turbo?

The VTDA is good but the TTDA I think is better cuz it is enclosed and has tubes to place where you can draw cooler air. A must for the summer time. ATP has some new turbos for over 300 hp but just reasearch it good. Open the airway for intake and exhaust to maximize hp.

Well ...if you're wanting 300 WHP then yes you'll need a bigger turbo. Basically you'll need a BT kit for everything you'll need to upgrade your turbo. There are many websites that sell bigger turbo upgrades. Call them so they can walk you through your purchase (make sure to talk to a few different ones). You'll need custom software to run the turbo properly, I've heard Unitronics runs really smooth for BT setups...
