Default Two questions about my fog lights

1) I replaced my fogs in December, and one of them is already burned out. What the hell??

2) I don't like the stock fog lights when paired up with my stock Xenons. I hate yellow fog lights with white headlights. What would be a good non-xenon replacement (that looks completely white).

Thanks all.

I use SilvanaSilverstars, and they are about as white as you can get without going Xenon...

Neat. I heard silverstars were good. Is there a particular part # to look for? Or should I just take the stock fog light to the local store?

Just look for H11's, they had them at my local Wal-Mart.

GRR

I just took out my fog lights and had a look at the bulbs. Neither is missing filliment, but only one is working. Godammit! I hate wiring problems. The bulbs are out of the car now so I don't get pulled over (still have regular daytime lights working).

le sigh

silly question but did you swap bulbs? sometimes filament looks good. and i have another question if you don't mind. where are you that cops are so **** that if a flood light is out you should drive directly to jail, but if you don't have them and have daytime runners, then you are good enough? that just seems wierd.

Canada, my friend.

We are required to have daytime running lights (unless your car was built before that law was passed). If you have foglights, then your daytime running lights are the fog lights, and the blinker lights (parking lights, maybe?). You aren't required to have fog lights on your car, but if you are running them and have one out, you could get a ticket. Not likely, but I don't even want to waste my time with a warning.

I'll try swapping the lights to see if they're the cause.

Do parking lights count? That's what I was rockin the whole time driving through British Columbia, and they didn't stop me... I was there for about a week...
