EVENT LOGO

If you don't know what I'm talking about, please take a quick look at the following post, otherwise, please read on...

Gumball 1000 Rally - Prince Rupert to Seattle Washington in 15 hours... (http://www.audiforums.com/m_242143/tm.htm)

For legal reasons, I want to use a name for the rally that will not attract negative attention from the "Gumball 3000" race.

I've decided to go with the "Ein Tag 1000", which stands for the "One Day 1000" in german...

I need some help on making the logo, I'm open to anything. I will end up finding someone online to print out the logo's for the car.

People with photoshop skills, I'm asking for your help!

I would like the logo to say "Der Ein Tag 1000", and any combination of the Audi ring logo, etc etc....

Anyone can submit an idea, the more the better, please post them here. If your idea is used, I will give you some special credit in the final video. Thanks in advance!

Please also keep in mind, the larger you can make the logo, the better... I will be asking an online company to make large sized logo's for the car's exterior, and the better the resolution, the easier it will be for the company to fabricate what I need... Thanks again!

maybe you could post up some pics of your car, and somebody can photoshop the graphics onto your car to help with sizing that will be needed, and making a decision as to if you like it or not

Sure thing, I want to put a semi-large logo on the hood, 2 medium sized logo's on the driver's side, and passanger's side doors, and 1 more medium sized one on the roof.

Stock photo, but it's the best one I have with the most hood surface area...

Calling ItsMyCookie, some of the guys on the forums said you were a god with Photoshop, I've seen your sigs before, and I believe them. I don't know if this is your area, but any help would be great! Thanks! :D

I posted this logo in the other section, it's my limit when it comes to doing "graphics" stuff, pretty bad, but none the less, what I came up with...

here's what i got so far. I'm open to what ever ideas you got. I'm trying to think of something that will look better as the background where the red circle is to spice it up or something.

The wording is perfect, I didn't even think about having the english translation below the german. That's awesome!

Do you think you could post a few with different colors, because my car is Red, that might be a little too much red. I don't really know what would look better, but maybe the kind of orange that it's the gumball logo. What would that look like?

Ahhh, I didn't see that you were already thinking about a different color for the background. Thanks good, if I had a white or black car, that logo is amazing already! :D

Hell yea! That looks even better, took up a little bit of the "fill in" space. Looks good! I just went out and measured on my car...

Hood Logo - 24" x 24"
Roof Logo - 24" x 24"
Door Pannel Logo's (Left and Right) 12" x 12"
Trunk Logo 12" x 12"

Looks like it will cost me about $100 for the set from "SignPro" here in town. I can't wait to take this idea to the guy!

Yep, that's gumball orange alright! Do you think that would look better on my car than the red?

I like the orange. you should go with that. it will look better when it's actually on your car

KarlMarx

What does the red look like on the car? If you could post that, it would be great. Red-Black is a good combo, and i think that the dark contrast the red logo has, will go a long way to look good on the car.

Tell you what, you convinced me, I'll go with the orange. If you wouldn't mind sending the largest copy you have of the orange logo, I'll take it to the guy tommrow, and have him print me out a proof, to see what it looks like. I'll make sure you get credit in my video, I really appreciate it! If you've got a paypal account, I would love to send some money your way for your time!

Oh yes, definatly going to go with the orange! I just PM'd you with email information. THANKS ALOT, great looking logo. I'll make sure to bring the car by Kirkland so you can see it!

Is Kirkland this kirkland?

A6Audi

yea thats the kirkland...so what are you going to do...are you going leave the stickers on...i would think they would be hard to get off with out messing up your paint.

KarlMarx

The shop here in town can make stickers for the car that will be "Temporary", not to be used more than 7 days or so, otherwise they will just "Fly Off". They can control the ammount of sticky glue, or something like that. I had the guy explain it to me. I told him what I was doing, and he said that he can guarantee me that it won't mess up my paint, and will be very easy to remove. Good news for me!

He does magnetic logo's as well, so I might ask him about that, but it's probably more expensive...
