You could try Autobahn on 36th and Western. Rick is a very good mechanic.

Also, try Roadstar Imports on Classen right south of I-44. Talk to the owner named Lott. He's a great mechanic and the cheapest guy in town. He did the timing belt kit on my wife's A6 and my water pump and t-stat on my bimmer super cheap.

Well, for my Quattro he did the timing belt kit for about 450-500 parts and labor. But while in there you might want to have the water pump and t-stat replaced as well which could be another 250. All in all, cheap compared to the other competition and Lott does great work!!!

I have been doing some looking around and I may decide to do it myself and save the money for my FMIC. It doesnt look too hard compared to replacing the clutch, just time consuming thats all.

I spotted it on as I was looking around bored in traffic one day.

It's called Bavarian Auto

I've used Bavarian Autohaus several times and they are really friendly and priced fairly, they are kinda small but they do fast work.
