Default REVIEW : Sylvania Silverstars

well .. i figured my car has been good lately so i would do something nice for her and thought i would pick up some of the Sylvania Silverstar bulbs ..thinking it would get rid of the "whitish" lights that my 99.5 have.. i mean they arent dingy yellow or anything.. but was hoping to get a brighter white / bluish HID look with these bulbs..

so as i was changing out the old with the new.. i noticed that the bulbs looked exactly the same before i even put them in the car.. and as suspected after paying the $38 for new bulbs the appearance was exactly the same [:@]

they are awesome replacement bulbs .. the are exactly same as stock .. but not if you hope to get an "HID" look.. i was greatly dissapointed ....

I noticed when I put the silverstar "Pure white" model in that it was noticeably whiter and it improved my viewing distance by about 10/20 feet. Also, they illuminated signs better.

They arn't ment to give you a bluer look. Check out http://www.luminicsdirect.com/
I put some ultraviolets in my 3000GT and it looked ******* badass. (I had to edit they changed their URL)

I put in the PIAA's and noticed a bit of an improvement from stock but they'll never be like HID's.

Try the Sylvania 'Cool Blue' lights, they have a slight blue-ish tint to them.
