hi guys,

is there any companys out there making a supercharger or turbo kit for the new s4 v8?

im thinking about buying a new s4 b6 this winter, and want to see if there any perfomance mods out there,,

any info would be very helpful.

It's hard to say, those things usually don't develop for a year or two after the car comes on the market.

 

Hey i have one and all they have is a chip (boosts it from 344 to 352) and full catback exhaust with downpipes and high flor cats (344 to about 350) and an intake (344-348). So your looking at about 362 hp at the crank. So not many mods out yet and i dont think there will be anytime soon. The B6 engine bay is to small to harbor turbo's and superchargers. I am sure eventually APR Oettinger or ABT will develop one within the next year or so that fits. It has the same engine as the S8 (360 hp) and S6 340 hp and both those cars have virtually not mods and have been out for awhile.

 

There will be in the future, the 344hp stock hp will keep u busy for a while.

 

there will be one out in November or December with two options a 550HP (light) and a 600HP (full) version, with the main difference other than price being that the 600HP system will be running more boost and will cost more cuz you gotta do more to the engine so it can handle the power, also stock transmission wont hold if tip, and probably go out after a while on a stick.

you should call and talk to the tech yourself..

I opteed out I dunno, 20,000+ ...for the horse gainss...
I decided to go a more natural route and am waiting to get the heads ported
new cams if I can save enough
injectors and tuning..
