So basically about 2 months ago i bought a 2000 A4 1.8TQM. It is just about the sickest car i have ever driven in my life. Well, when i bought it it had been accidentally driven through a barbwire fence so it is covered in scratches and there is a few small dents in the left rear fender. Absolutely nothing is wrong with the engine and it was owned before me by a extremely reputable audi shop (2Bennett Audimotive). So far i have put a Baileys DV on, done the airbox mod, put on some AWE pedals, and i bought it already APR chipped. So the big question is, this summer for my birthday should i do performance upgrades(borla exhaust, boost gauge, etc.) or throw on a carbon fiber hood to get rid of the hood dents and scratches(where it is the worst) and possibly get the dents out and paint? Thanks

if it looks fast it better be fast!!! it's ok to have a not so perfect car that is fast people may laugh at you till you blow there doors off for example there is some cowboy that i have seen at the strip a couple of time that is missing teeth and he kinda smelly and his car is even worst its nasty green rusted out old datsun which is binged and dented and that ugly thing runs fricken 11's it's got a chevy 350 crate motor in it i laughed at him the first time i seen that car till it kicked my butt

 

I would normally say performance before show, but in this case I do think you should clean it up. I mean a Datsun is naturally ugly, so even if you get smoked it's not your preferred choice car right? Anyways, I don't know about a Carbon Fiber hood, but your car should look good man, you deserve it. If it wasn't chipped I might tell you something else, but in this case I think it's good to clean it up a little. Just my opinion.

 

LMAO this guy cracks me up...I say have your **** looking good first, then you can move on to performance, but thats just me.

I guess its good to go really fast so ppl can't see how sh!itty it looks lol
