Default Accessing headunit changer connector

My iPod hookup comes in today.
I have 2 options (the manufacturer tells me)

1. I can install to the connector on the back of the headunit?
2. I can install to the connector in the trunk for the CD changer?

With that said...

1. How can I access this connector on the headunit. Are there any detailed instructions for removing it to get to it? etc. etc. etc.
2. If there is a connector in the trunk. Where is it?

Any other helpful info please.

You'll need the Audi radio removal keys to access the back of the radio. You can buy them from tons of places on the internet.

I think that since I have a 2004 a changer in the trunk wasnt an option, but instead of a single disc it might have had a 6-disc option (in-dash)???

With that said, removing the headunit.
The pictures I see on the net show a double-din headunit and where to put some tools.

Mine is single-DIN
hrmm..
